…when I meet non-scientists for the first time, and the subject of what I do for a living comes up, are they all so quick to tell me their physics grade from school/college? e.g.
Them: “So what do you do?”
Me: “Oh, I teach physics*.”
Them: “Ah, I only got an E in physics I’m afraid.”
